I found this poor guy rummaging Through the dumpsters in downtown Dallas he was so skinny as you can see in the pictures. My guess is that somebody used to beat him with a stick and he escaped and he is too intimidating for anybody else to approach when he was in the streets lost lonely confused and hot and hungry … that’s why he was on the streets so long and was so skinny -is my guess -but my love for dogs and cats I was not scared to approach him and get him to come to me and a big bag of ham I had sure was a help.. Because ever since he had that whole half a ham he is not left my side. I’ve had him for two months now and he is so healthy and strong I sure would love to keep him but my old dog Maybelline doesn’t have the best manners (when walking she barks at other dogs so I don’t walk them together :(. ) I don’t want him picking up that habit bc he’s very friendly with other dogs and I know that he would be so well suited in somebody’s family … he is so loving …. But I can’t keep him ! Why because I have two old people (80 Jerry and 81 Judy) Jerry can’t move too well and just had memory issues.. I take care of them and a husband with heart failure and diabetes and 4 cats and a dog Maybelline as I already mentioned.. and fish! I have fish for adoption if interested so I’ve rescued him and Loved him. I’ve taught him to sit, lay down, stay and we’re working on rollover and shake… he’s eager to learn more !! he’s so very attentive and so funny !! and very goofy !! he will keep you laughing ! He has me omg so silly …. he may look intimidating but he’s just a big love bug who loves to play with other dogs and be by your side … now, unfortunately he has tendency to want to chase cats which is ultimately why I need to find him another home … otherwise I’ll keep his big old goofy butt!! but our cats were here first and the two old people I take care of absolutely love our cats - like kids ! they too don’t wanna get rid of “Buddy “ or “Fido” he responds to many names, sometimes Sultan or Brutus …. but sadly I can’t risk a loosing a cat or continue to keep up with everyone … so if you do not have any indoor cats and or if you’re looking for a good guard dog out back or if you would like to have a companion by your side 24 seven up your butt - loyal as ever- and so handsome and strong and the best looking dog ever ( in my opinion- I am proud of him when I take him out and other people compliment “that’s a good looking dog “ when they see me tell him sit and he does :) Then this is your guy!! he rides in the car really great ! he’s not fixed and he’s purebred so if you wanted to stud him out you could.
