I saw a bag in the middle of the road this morning - probably left on top of someone's car. I'm thinking that the padded case kept the device safe from damage when it fell, and I definitely kept it from being run over. I had to look it up to learn what it was - something that is helpful for evaluating or identifying flooring. I found a picture of a very similar device - looks the same except for the color. I'm not sure whether I'll be allowed to include the picture. This is not something that many people would find useful or valuable - maybe 1% of the population. If it is yours, send me a note.
