Are you a VOCALIST or a KEYBOARDIST (or both) looking to join a band? If so, keep reading... F R E Y C U S [frey-kuhs] is offering auditions for these two positions to anyone who is ready to be a part of an up and coming creative force. WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Dedicated individuals with reliable transportation to travel to Downtown LA 2-3 times per week. (we run a tightship and typically come in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30-10:30, but we are amenable to this schedule based on your needs) Professionals who have at least 10 years of training and commitment and knows how to record using a metronome (cannot stress this enough) If you are not serious about your career as a musician, then please don't waste our time as well as yours. If interested in auditioning, please be ready to go. We can't stress that enough; we are currently recording our EP, and would love to play shows with a full set of members. We rent a 24/7 lockout in DTLA Rehearsal. It is a great spot to jam, record music and build chemistry. HOWEVER, if brought on board, there is a strict requirement that rent must be contributed in its full and equal amount. Rent will vary between $175-$200/month along with potential fixes/upgrades to our house equipment. Remember, this is an investment to our career as musicians, it not only enables us to record all our own music, but also establishes you as a co-owner of this space, it is yours to do with as you please as long as the space is respected and used for building your craft. Our music has changed over the years, from starting off as punk to (what is now) a progressive nu-metal band (metal ambiance); with influences such as: The Ocean, Jinger, Deftones, Rabea Massaad, Animals As Leaders, Intronaut, Gojira & Porcupine Tree…Our vision with this music is definitely worth something to look forward to especially with these influences. We are heavily into melodic grooves with the incorporation of heavy rhythmic ballads. VOCALIST POSITION: Must be able to SING and SCREAM; and if you can only sing, auditions for you are welcomed. If you can only scream, this is not what we are looking for. Singing is a must, screaming is a plus. We are open to talent, as long as you're willing to do this with us. KEYBOARDIST POSITION: Synths, leads, sound manipulations and know how to use presets/samples. So, if you've made it this far, that means we got your attention.
