MEMCO is looking to hire Concrete/Plumber - Foreman, candidate will be under the general direction of the department's Superintendent and Project Manager, role is to work " hands on" with the crews and to supervise their crew and closely with the Superintendent.   Location: Port of Brownsville, TX Starting pay: $18 per hour   Duties and responsibilities Fully understand project scope Manage work load, daily tasks Communicate daily with Superintendent – Set time daily Input daily logs Follow all guidelines for extra work Manage on site labor force Track and turn in daily production sheet Safety implementation and enforcement Qualifications High School Diploma or Higher, College degree preferred Proficient in understanding, reading and interpreting plans. Strong communication/organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills. Team player with everyone involved in the success of each job. Ability to remain calm, focused and make the right decision under pressure situations. Experience working on sanitary sewer, utilites, pipeline, RCP storm drain and waterline projects is highly preferred   Physical Requirements: Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and customers by telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment, such as but not limited to a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, crawling, and handling, sitting, pushing, and pulling. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.   Foreman Qualification   MUST have 2 forms of ID MUST have a reliable vehicle/ transportation Possession of a valid, appropriate Texas CDL (Class C) driver’s license is preferable and an acceptable driving record. Pre- employment drug screen and physical required.
