HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Dec. 20 through Dec. 26. The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt. Jack Carson, 30, of Miller Place, stole 65 bottles of men's cologne from Ulta Beauty at 4 p.m. Nov. 27, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on Dec. 24.Devin Paulbettis, 24, of Amityville, was at Safiro Bar on New York Avenue at 1:10 a.m. Nov. 7 when he threw a wooden pool cue at a man, police said. The cue bounced off the man and struck another man in the mouth, injuring him, police said. Paulbettis was arrested and charged with assault: recklessly cause physical injury on Dec. 22.Michael Mahase, 32, undomiciled, stole a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. At 2:30 a.m. Dec. 20 on Broadhollow Road in Melville, Mahase was driving the Jeep when he was confronted by Suffolk police officers, police said. Mahase tried to flee by ramming the Jeep into a police car, damaging both vehicles, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property: value of property more than $3,000, third-degree criminal mischief: damage motor vehicle, resisting arrest, second-degree assault: intent to cause physical injury to officer, and third-degree grand larceny on Dec. 20.Tiffany Radford, 32, of Farmingdale and Commack, helped Michael Mahase, 32, undomiciled, steal the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. Radford admitted to stealing the car, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property: value of property more than $3,000 and third-degree grand larceny on Dec. 20.
