Phoenix Security Solutions has immediate positions available for two different security positions as well as a radio dispatcher for our communications center. SECURITY OFFICERS: ($12.50-$14.00) These positions are primarily at resort hotels and require you be alert, visible and conduct foot patrols of the property to ensure safety and reasonable behavior. The requirements are:must be a U.S. Citizenhave more than a minimal criminal record – nothing drug or theft relatedcapable of following directions and instructions a fair understanding of smartphone use for electronic reporting reliable means of transportation be reliable and dependable We currently have 2nd and 3rd shifts available with very few day shifts. If you NEED day shifts, please call to check availability first (843-839-2223) QUICK RESPONSE SECURITY OFFICERS: ($15.00) These positions are “on-call status” where you may get as much as a four day notice or as little as one hour to respond to one of our properties. You would be issued a company cell phone for your on-call status. The higher payrate is due to the inconsistency and inconvenience of being on-call. In almost all cases, calls would occur for shifts anywhere from 3pm to 11pm. You CAN specify when you are NOT available though, such as “only available from 5pm-12am”, or “not available on Mondays”, etc. The requirements are: all of the requirements of the standard security officer above, and live within 20 minutes of central Myrtle Beach very flexible schedule SECURITY DISPATCHER: ($12.50-$14.00) Dispatcher positions are currently 12am-8am and operate inside our communications center within our office. You would direct officers to calls on various properties via radio, contact emergency services for officers via telephone and record nightly activities in our dispatch software. The requirements are: capable of following directions and instructions a fair understanding of smartphone and computer use for electronic reporting reliable means of transportation be reliable and dependable clear speaking voice attention to detail Security Positions require that you attend and pass a certification course that we provide in our office in order to be permitted by the State to work in the security industry. The test is fairly easy and takes the better part of a day to complete. A clear drug test (performed in our office) and background check is also required for the security positions. Applicants can stop by our office anytime on weekdays between 8am-5pm to complete an application and immediate interview. Interviews outside of those days and times are by appointment only.
