The Oregon Cabaret Theatre, a dinner theater in beautiful Ashland, Oregon, is looking for a part-time Janitor/Custodian to join our team. Please drop off a resume in person at 241 Hargadine in downtown Ashland - our box office hours are Monday through Friday 11am - 5pm. Job Description: The right person will help to clean and maintain the appearance of the Cabaret: Vacuum and clean the dining area after each performance. Whether this is done late at night after the show, or early the next morning before rehearsal is flexible. Schedule for additional miscellaneous cleaning - dusting, wood polishing, etc. Clean and re-stock bathrooms Clean dressing room and office as necessary Take out all trash/recycling Wash miscellaneous dishes that are used during the rehearsal process Monitor inventory and coordinate linens with Aramark Monitor and order supplies from Aramark and West Coast paper Take trash to curb, Monday, Wednesday, Friday Replace light bulbs and note maintenance issues that need to be addressed Note: For most of the year, this is a full time position, however because it is attached to the theatre, we are not open during January and for 10 days between each of our five shows. There will be less hours to work during this time, as we don’t have customers in to dirty the dining area. Job Requirements: 1 year janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred Must be reliable, responsible and able to work independently We will perform a background check before offering the position About Us: The Oregon Cabaret Theatre has provided first-class entertainment and dining in the Rogue Valley for the last thirty years.
