Jobsource is Now Hiring for a Upholstery Technician for a Manufacturing Company in the city of Jurupa Valley! For 1st shift 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday! Pay rate: $18.00 - $22.00 Depending on experience. Job duties: - Manage daily order production and workflow - Operate both manual and track cutter - Maintain quality control - Oversee raw materials and production component inventory - Maintain minimum material waste - Maintain, Design and Upkeep all cutting patterns - Ability to work with deadlines MUST HAVE: - 5+ years’ experience on order planning. - 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining upholstery patterns according to product specification. - 3+ years’ experience operating sewing machines on both single and overlock. - Have knowledge of laying out patterns and excellent people skills Required Skills: - Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work - Effective communication skills - Detailed oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills -The ability to receive and apply direction/instruction and then work autonomously toward the completion of job activities. MUST HAVE the ability to safely use a wide range of hand cutting tools/machines.
