Hi all, Looking to for a soul jazz outfit to eventually find a residency maybe once or twice a month at one of these beach towns. Preferably low maintenance with a few rehearsals to get a couple nice sets going and then building out from there. I also am planning a little block party in the cul de sac that I live in to bring the community together here is n. Esco as well. Influences include Melvin sparks Grant green Lonnie smith Freddie Hubbard Ernest ranglin Lettuce James brown Sly and Robbie Bitty McLean Neville brothers Etc The guitarist and i I have a lot of reggae background playing with multiple reggae artists over the years… So were definitely into that and doing some sweet lovers music 🎶 … Peter hunningale, Dennis brown, Freddie Mcgregor, Gregory issacs… sugar minott… etc But we are also big fans of old “organ” funk, soul, jazz … etc. Spearheading a project is always the hard part….. and putting a band together is like herding a bunch of wild kittens into a box and holding them there 😂😂 If any of this sparks your interests… and you would like to speak more and get together.
