Description
UCSF is looking for paid volunteers!
• Age: 21 - 70 years old
• Current and regular use of both cigarettes and e-cigarettes
• Using e-liquids with nicotine
• Healthy, no chronic illnesses
• No Active Drug Use (marijuana okay)
The purpose of this study is to examine how nicotine is absorbed, distributed and eliminated in the body when smoking tobacco cigarettes versus vaping the JUUL electronic cigarette.
Participation in the study will consist of 2 visits to the UCSF Tobacco Research center, 1 COVID-19 test prior to study visits, and 2 hospital study visits (~10 hours per visit) over the course of approximately 4 days.
Compensation up to $850 will be provided.
