Dispatch Goods is a mission-driven company working to eliminate single-use packaging waste. We are hiring contract collection drivers to pick up bags of reusable containers from Bay Area homes. Can be based out of anywhere in the bay, but particularly looking in Marin County. Average collections/hour: 8-10 Average compensation/hour: $25/hr Collections generally run M-F, from about 9 am -3 pm. The number of collections per day varies from 20 to 50 and most customers simply have the reusable bag out for collection on their porch. Collections are grouped by neighborhood, so the houses will be relatively close together. Occasionally you'll need to ring a doorbell or call the customer. At the end of your shift, you'll deliver the collections to a warehouse in Bayview. Routes are determined in advance and this is not an on-demand service. You'll have a pre-determined route the night before.
