Summary – Field Inspection Technician: In this role as a Field Inspection Technician you would play a key role in performing inspections of underground utility systems to detect and assess potential issues essential to the well-being of the communities you live and work in. You will receive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to progress your career as you gain experience.

Responsibility Summary – Field Inspection Technician:
*Assist in performing inspections of underground utility systems through the use of specialized equipment.
*Prepare the site for inspection and clean-up equipment following inspections.
*Following proper safety procedures on all work sites.
*Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
*Document work completed through the use of field notes and tablets
*All other duties as assigned.
Qualification Summary – Field Inspection Technician:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Valid driver’s license
*Possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities
*Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-35% of the time
*Preferred experience in a hands-on, outdoor settings
*Candidates with safety training and certifications are highly preferred (OSHA 10 Hour, confined space entry, CPR/First Aid, etc.)
*Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (lifting/pushing/pulling up to 100lbs, walking and standing for 8+ hours per day, entering confined spaces, climbing, use hands/fingers to control and feel objects, seeing details of an object from close-up or far-away, ability to hear instructions in loud settings).
