Logistics fulfillment specialist Job Summary: The Logistics employee will be responsible for distribution, and inventory control of our products at all locations (currently main warehouse in Phoenix, AZ). This position will also be responsible for global transportation and flow of goods both inbound and outbound. This person will be responsible for effective operations of our shipping department, including managing daily shipping + making sure all customers’ orders are fulfilled accurately and on-time. They will provide leadership and management to the operations and shipping staff, troubleshooting shipping processes when necessary. They will create and implement performance metrics including reporting and analysis where necessary; the goal is to ensure that both the inventory control and shipping processes operate efficiently. Responsibilities: Print & fulfill label logistics for distribution, to ensure all customer orders are filled in a timely manner. Create and implement performance metrics where necessary for incoming product deliveries as well as outgoing customer orders; create regular reports for tracking of these processes Maintain year-round readiness of logistics and distribution facilities, paying special attention to those times of the year when Bounce Curl anticipates a high-level of sales. -Be vigilant about minimizing errors and increasing productivity. -Report to management on activities and issues. -Train shipping personnel in any software or application updates. -Assist with any special projects including new system or application enhancements. -Proactively identify potential process improvements. -Work with Distribution Manager to optimize procedures for fulfilling orders to distributors. -Work well and collaborate with other team members. Requirements: -3 years of experience as a Logistics or Distribution in a fast-paced environment for an e-commerce company. -BS degree in Business or Supply Chain Management. (+ but not required) -Demonstrated experience in inventory control; has knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. -Experience working with large volume of orders in a fast-paced environment. -Solid working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite products; excellent knowledge of MS Excel. -Experience with Shopify and related applications that support inventory and order transactions -Excellent attention to detail -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities. -Team player who works efficiently and effectively with limited supervision. -Commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service. -JOB is in person only.
