Hello Cape Codders! I have two TINY Airbnbs in South Yarmouth that operate as short-term rentals year-round. My current cleaner/Airbnb manager is leaving and I’m looking for someone else to take ownership of the role. It’s a bit hard to describe on paper because you can define quite a bit of what you want and don’t want to do because you’ll be working within a team of support. But the typical basic requirements include: REQUIRED TASKS: • Cleaning and general turnover of 1 to 2 units on various days – each take about an hour • Must be available between 11AM and 3PM only on cleaning days • Must be tech savvy enough to log into my Airbnb account and keep track of the days/times • Must be reliable and have trustworthy transportation • Must be able to keep track of supplies and order more as needed • Must have high standards and alert me to anything not in perfect condition and high quality • Laundry is not required, but it’s an added $15 per load if you do it on occasion, machines are on-property • Must be able to keep careful accounting of cleaning dates, which address and time spent OPTIONAL TASKS: Currently my Airbnb manager offers concierge/special occasion services to guests. She manages and profits on this completely on her own, so you can do the same or you can choose not to. Typically, this includes: Buying flowers, chocolates, cards, etc for special occasions Airport pick up/drop off Personal ubering, drop-offs, scheduled rides, etc. But it could also include things like guided bike/kayak/paddleboard tours Whatever you can think of really…this would be YOUR business I also help several other rental owners with their properties. If you’re interested in more work, you can also have you do turnovers at other locations I help manage. PAY: My payment set up with my current cleaner is complicated due to drive time, but I typically pay $50 to $60 per turn over, plus another set rate for shopping, cleaning overages and other responsibilities. Pay for this role is negotiable based on how much you decide to take on. It also comes with a summer bonus if no turnover days are missed and a Christmas bonus as well. You will be treated fairly by a small company (just me) and almost my entire team have become best friends of mine (although not required). I am a very uplifting and supportive person.
