Our company is expanding into Hilton Head and we are searching for officiants for elopements. We perform ceremonies for all sorts of couples and we receive requests for weddings 7 days a week. Our officiants perform, on average, 5-10 ceremonies a month depending on their schedule and goals. We are looking for 1-2 officiants in Hilton Head with daytime flexibility. We will help chosen candidates with ordination paperwork and training upon being hired. Job Duties: - Officiate pre-written wedding ceremonies as assigned - Provide high level of customer service to all clients with enthusiasm - Keep information about weddings and clients confidential - Dress appropriately for the occasion (generally cocktail or formal business wear for women, suit for men) - Be prompt for all events and arrive before the scheduled time Qualifications: - Significant experience with public speaking or performing - Experience as an independent contractor who organizes his or her own work and has been responsible to customers - Comfort with performing ceremonies that are both non-denominational and non-religious and for couples of diverse backgrounds - Available at least half of the weekends in 2022 & 2023 Application Instructions: If interested, please send a resume and tell us why you want the position and why you’d be great at it.
