Commercial Construction Superintendent (Bradenton) compensation: Based on Experience. employment type: full-time job title: Construction Superintendent General Contractor is seeking qualified individuals for onsite Construction Superintendents, in Bradenton Florida. Individuals must be self motivated, have extensive construction knowledge and supervision experience. Responsibilities • Coordinate and maintain the continuity of all superintendent functions • Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures • Adhere to safety policies and procedures • Closely check the work of subcontractors, laborers, etc to assure compliance with laws, protection of the company from risk, and compliance with established budgets and deadlines • Assist in trouble shooting daily problems • Develop and implement schedules and site logistics plans with the Project Manager • Must be comfortable overseeing the workforce on each project • Able to explain daily plans and project objectives to AEC leadership team • Assign tasks to ensure efficient usage Superintendent Qualifications: • 3+ years experience as a construction superintendent • Proficiency with safety procedures • Extensive people skills • Ability to work under little or no supervision • Strong track record of delivering projects on time • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to distribute the workload properly to get job done in a timely manor Competitive pay based on experience.
