Learn to make your own leggings! You will learn how to measure, cut, and sew your own pair of leggings. Take this knowledge home and make all the leggings your heart desires! Have you ever wanted to make your own leggings? By learning this skill you’ll be able to make leggings that aren’t see through, and fit correctly. You will learn how to choose the right size pattern, how to work effectively with stretchy fabrics, how to lengthen and shorten for your body type, how to use a stretch stitch and how to sew in a waistband. MATERIALS PROVIDED TO ATTENDEES Tracing paper and basic stretch fabric will be provided. The fabric donated will allow you to practice and learn. It is suggested that after you take the class you make your final leggings out of fabric you have chosen and purchased yourself. MATERIALS ATTENDEES SHOULD BRING FROM HOME (IF ANY) If you own stretch fabric that you would like to use instead of donated shop fabric, scissors if you are left handed or particular about your tools, pen and paper. WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES TO SIGN UP FOR THE CLASS, IF ANY? Basic sewing machine knowledge. You should understand how to thread and operate a machine.
