Concord Housing + Redevelopment seeks full time maintenance technician for apartment communities in Concord, NH. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks for a portfolio of apartments in Concord NH. Basic carpentry, plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical, flooring, and painting skills are required. Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks such as: Replacement of stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, toilets, faucets, etc. Small exterior building repairs Painting and drywall Cleaning as required Furniture assembly, hanging curtain rods and replacing window blinds Additional responsibilities presented upon application Requirements Must have a knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks. 5+ years maintenance experience Must own a work vehicle i.e. pickup truck or utility van preferred Must own basic tools to perform daily duties Must pass basic pre-employment criminal background check Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly move objects of up to 75 pounds occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires the ability to stoop, crouch, climb and/or stretch arms, legs or other parts of body to grasp objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. However, if the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work. Emergency Maintenance Completes a rotation on call for the Emergency Call Service.
