Join the Carter County Healthy Living Coalition (CCHLC) and the TSET Healthy Living Program serving Carter County on June 16, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at the Ardmore Convention Center for the 1st Annual Carter County Healthy Living Extravaganza! This free event* will include: Speakers Booths Demonstrations Drug Take-Back Events (see below) Biometric Scale Readings Games Food Prizes And More! The Carter County Substance Abuse Prevention Committee (CCSAPC), in partnership with the Ardmore Police Department and the Lone Grove Police Department, will be hosting a drive-thru Prescription Drug Take-Back Event in the parking lot of the Ardmore Convention Center during this event. They will have a booth set up on the east side of the parking lot, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where community members can drive-thru and drop off their unused, unwanted, and expired medications. A mobile take-back event will also be occurring from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Call or text 580-798-6730 to schedule the pick-up of your medication from your home or office during this mobile event.
