What do you see on a walk in the woods? How do you feel when you are outside in nature? Do you find yourself taking deeper breaths and finding a feeling of calm? Being mindful in nature is that exact experience of being present, awake, and peaceful amidst the quiet rhythm of nature. You will learn what a “sit spot” is and how to re-create it at your home. It is not a hike, rather a series of slow invitations to use your senses and experience wonder at all the “beings” that surround us. Every walk concludes with a tea ceremony under the 100-year-old Magnolia tree.
