Meet Mia. She was born the night of December 24th 2019 and is a heeler pit mix. Don’t let her breed fool you. Mia is very loving, energetic, playful, and is kind and patient with kiddos. She loves to snuggle up and have movie nights with the family. She’s good in and outside the house. Mia is such an awesome dog! We absolutely adore her, but unfortunately she is needing to be adopted or put in a foster home asap. For a few months, the neighborhood kids would throw rocks and kick at the fence to get a reaction out of Mia. A couple weeks ago, one of the kids began throwing big rocks at her, yelling, and kicking the fence. Mia got scared and scratched them. The parents of the child say she bit them, but the photos say otherwise. I'm currently fighting a court case regarding her "biting" the child. I have photos of the “bite” and it's clear it is nothing more than a small scratch. The only options that are given to me by the court are to either have Mia adopted or unfortunately put down if I lose..I have proof of our side of the story, and will show photos if needed. Our court case is on June 8th. I've been looking for someone to adopt her for the longest. Time is of the essence for Mia.
