Two Bonded Cats

Trying to help out an elderly lady who took in 2 cats that her neighbor's tenant abandoned when they moved. She can't use computers so I'm posting this for her. She has a bonded pair of most likely siblings (a boy and a girl) approx 2-4 years old she wants to find a good permanent home for. She took them to the vet to see if they were fixed and the vet said they're both fixed/altered. She has had them for weeks and they seem to be healthy. She already has several cats of her own and can't take on these two also plus her cats are not happy about these new guests and are being mean to them; she didn't want any fights so these 2 poor cats have been living in cages in her basement for weeks and are miserable. They are both friendly and one is still acting very sweet, purring and rubbing but the other one has started hissing at times out of frustration from being locked up in a cage in a damp windowless basement 24/7, for weeks. Even though they're not her cats, she cares about them and has some requirements: 1. Since they're already altered, rehoming fee is $100 for Each cat. 2. Telephone interview and email questionnaire including but not limited to how many people in the home, their ages and if they all want the cats or not, if anyone's allergic, if you have or had any pets & if so what species, ages etc. etc. 3. References 4. Landlord info to make sure you have permission to have 2 cats 5. Home check (You only have to show us your living room, not the whole place; she just wants to make sure the cats are going to a decent home and not a hoarder house or anything so we will be dropping off the cats to you plus the elderly lady lives alone and is afraid to let strangers in her house.) If for any reason, you decide you don't want these cats after a week or month or 6 months, we'll come pick them up from you. Please don't abandon them like their previous owner. They've been through enough, without any fault of their own.
