GHP Period Summit, in partnership with Caresource, is designed to educate and engage the community about menstrual equity and awareness, emphasizing our three Period C's: Clean, Comfortable, and Confident. This one-day Summit will be centered around education geared towards families, educators, community partners, and coaches. GHP will discuss the importance of keeping girls in school and sports through panels, activities, and the arts. The GHP Summit aims to provide education and awareness for our menstruating students, families, and community. GHP will provide free information about menstrual health, healthy eating, etc. The Summit is free to attend and geared towards students aged 12+. Due to limited seating, you must RSVP to attend the menstrual education portion of the GHP Period Summit by selecting the time that works best for you. The menstrual education sessions will be geared toward students from 12+ and their families/guardians. There will be two sessions, and each session will provide the same information. The First session will be from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM and again from1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. Anyone attending the menstrual education sessions must RSVP. All attendees under 16 years old must attend the educational session with a parent or guardian over 18 years of age. ** Disclaimer: GHP will be providing menstrual education using anatomically correct drawings and medical language geared towards students aged 12+.
