ARLINGTON, VA — After three juveniles weren't allowed to buy alcohol at a business in the Pentagon Row area Sunday afternoon, they returned to the store and one of the three pulled out what was later determined to a BB gun and pointed it at an employee, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
An arrest petition was sought for the juvenile who pulled out the BB gun and threatened the employee. The other two juveniles were allowed to leave the scene without any charges, police said.
The incident occurred in the 1300 block of S. Joyce Street shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Police were dispatched to the area for a report of juveniles attempting to purchase alcohol. A lookout was broadcast and officers found the juvenile who brandished the BB gun and the two other juvenile suspects and detained them without incident.
When the three juveniles entered the business the first time, they became disorderly when the employee asked for identification. The juveniles left and returned a short time later, and that's when the one juvenile pulled out the BB gun, police said.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
