Press release from the City of San Antonio: Tuesday, May 31, 2022 CONTACT: Marcus Lee 210-207-6463 [email protected] SAN ANTONIO (May 31, 2022) – The City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management Department is offering fine ground mulch at no cost every day during the month of June, or while supplies last at the Bitters Brush Recycling Center. The Bitters Brush Recycling Center is located at 1800 Wurzbach Pkwy and it is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Coarse ground mulch has always been available at no cost. Customers wanting to take advantage of the mulch giveaway must bring their own containers, pack and haul away on their own. Loads must be covered by a tarp according to City Ordinance #2015-09-10-0760. The City of San Antonio and its partners are not responsible for damage to vehicles or injury to attendees of the event. Customers must bring a current CPS Energy bill showing the Environmental Fee and a photo ID.
