Press release from the City of San Antonio: Friday, June 3, 2022 CONTACT: Victoria Villarreal, 210-207-2577 [email protected] SAN ANTONIO (June 3, 2022) – The Bazan Branch of the San Antonio Public Library is scheduled to officially re-open and resume normal operations on Saturday, June 4 at 10 a.m. The library closed in April for scheduled maintenance as part of the City of San Antonio's fiscal year 2022 Deferred Maintenance Program. The $390,000 project funded improvements inside and outside of the library, including: Updated flooring Renovated restrooms Interior & exterior painting New automatic front door Exterior lighting improvements Bottle-fill drinking fountain Parking lot, sidewalk and landscaping improvements Interim service for Bazan Branch Library has been held at the San Antonio Natatorium since the library closed for maintenance.
