Description
Rules & Regulations start at 9:45. Event Start time will be at 10 am Weigh Ins will be Friday July 29th from 5-7 pm & July 30th from 8-9 am. Athletes will be competing in the following weight classes: LMY <200 lbs HMY >200 lbs LWY <150 lbs HWY >150 lbs LW <165 lbs HW >165 lbs LM <230 lbs HM <315 lbs SHM >315 lbs ---- COMP SHIRT ---- Must enter before July 18, 2022 to guarantee a FREE contest shirt, ALL athletes must wear contest shirt on the day of competition, NO EXCEPTIONS. Shirts will be for sale @ $20 on event day for athletes and $25 for spectators. All first, second and third place winners in each division will win a medal, swag bag and other promo goods. Top Overall male and female will win a cash prize. Event 1: Axle/Log Medley Athlete will start behind axle bar with hands off implement and must wait for the judges GO command. Once Go is given, athlete must then clean and press weighted axle bar. Arms must be fully locked for rep to count. Athlete must wait for judges Down command. Athlete will then clean and press weighted log. Arms must be fully locked for rep to count and athlete must wait for down command. All drops must be controlled for rep to count. No drops from overhead. Athlete must try and get as many reps (1 axle, 1 log) as possible in 60 second time limit. Event 2: Sandbag Load Medley Athlete will start with hands off implement. Once judge gives GO command, athlete will pick up first sandbag, carry it 50 ft and load it onto a platform. Athlete will then run back to starting point and do the same for bag #2 and #3. Sandbags will be lightest to heaviest. Athlete must try to load all 3 sandbags within 60 seconds. Event 3: Circus Dumbbell Clean & Press Athlete will have 60 seconds to clean and press weighted circus dumbbell for reps. Dumbbell must touch bottom platform each time for rep to count. Arm must be fully locked out and athlete must wait for down command after each press. Event 4: Max Deadlift Wessel's rules. Athlete will have three attempts to pull your max. You jump in at the weight you want to lift. Athlete will have 60 seconds to pull that weight. If you miss a pull you are out and we will use your highest pull that you successfully did. You CANNOT drop down after the weight has gone up.
