Description

A Litha Evening Friday, June 24, 2022, 6p-9p Join us in the Temple for an evening celebrating Litha, also known as Midsummer. Occurring on the Summer Solstice (the longest day of the year,) for some cultures it was a battle between the night and day, the light and the dark. We will: -Dine by candlelight enjoying sun-soaked fruits, veggies, honey mead, and fresh-baked bread. You are welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, and/or beverage. Coffee, water, and tea provided. -Share stories in circle -Light the fire of our manifestations with spell work -Decorate an abundance candle -Spiral dance -Rebuild our seasonal altar in our shared altar room Litha is a cross-quarter seasonal celebration according to the Celtic wheel of the year. Each festival on the wheel is in honor of an important aspect of the season, and for Litha that is the beginning of Summer and the importance of the strength and the power of the sun! Whether you are in or out of the Broom Closet, this gathering is for you!
