IKANSTART thinks it’s time that we get together and share our F*ups openly to help each other understand what went wrong and how to avoid mistakes when possible. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Joy Thompkins & Carol Podolak Two spunky Indiana soccer moms that were looking for a nutritious, healthy product to sell as a fundraiser for their local youth soccer team found that product when they created bNutty gourmet peanut butter! Joy used her background as a nurse midwife to develop the creative, delicious and healthy recipes. She then turned her attention to designing a beautiful, food facility to produce bNutty’s artisan products. As a former project manager and a mother of three active children, Carol brought her organizational talents and problem-solving skills to bNutty and helped grow the company from a home kitchen to a National and then International Brand. Dwayne Walker Dwayne has 25+ years of leadership experience expanding national sales channels & brands and guiding top-tier Fortune companies. He is an accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise in business performance have driven notable enterprise growth in Information Technology, Transportation, and Retail Distribution sectors. Dr. HARRY KUNELIS Harry, DDS, is a former dentist turned pro Ai marketing and real estate consultant. He had his own dental practice then pivoting to create HK Creative Investments: development company which simplifies the use of identity resolution in digital marketing so real estate and healthcare companies can strategically acquire and maintain more customers. Dushan Nikolovski Dushan has 30+ years of startup & business experience and 29+ years teaching experience educating thousands of students at Purdue University’s Chicago area campus as Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management. He founded IKANSTART to educate, inspire and motivate people to make a change in their life and start working on their dream.
