Princeton PD Seek Help Identifying Possible Witness In Groping Case

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Police Department is seeking help in identifying a possible witness to the recent criminal sexual contact incident in the Municipality. On June 2, around 9:20 a.m., a 17-year-old female was entering a parked vehicle on Franklin Avenue Parking Lot (across Harris Road), when the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her left leg in an attempt to grab her buttocks, police said. The man then fled towards Princeton cemetery. During the incident, a black minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, was traveling east on Franklin Avenue towards Moore Street. Police believe the driver may have witnessed the crime. Authorities are asking that the driver, or anyone who may know the driver of the pictured black minivan, to contact the Princeton Police at 609-921-2100. The teen described The suspect as a Hispanic male, possibly in his mid-30s, 5'5 with a medium build, wearing a baseball hat, a grey short sleeve shirt and a blue surgical mask, police said.
