Oyster Reef Build with SCDNR SCORE @ Harbour Town, HHI

Join SCDNR staff and The Outside Foundation in deploying an oyster reef at the Harbour Town Golf Course on Hilton Head Island . Staff and volunteers have dropped recycled oyster shell bags at the build site for part one of this build (6/8). Volunteers and staff will be arranging pre deployed shell bags into intertidal oyster reefs. Due to the site location, volunteers must be able to lift heavy bags, withstand working outside and must be 16 years and older (high schoolers must be accompanied by an adult.) What to wear/bring: -Closed-toe shoes (no crocs or flip flops! Boots or old sneakers recommended) -Clothes that can get dirty & wet -Reusable water bottle -Change of clothes/shoes for afterwards Parking: Please park at the parking location along the 17th fairway. Please be on the lookout for SCORE signs
