This year’s Modern Girl Movement (MGM) Conference is focused on the Mental Health and well-being of individuals within our communities. It is important that Mental Health providers have conversations about Mental Health matters. In addition, educate our communities about Mental Health awareness and resources available. The intent of this conference is to provide education on current topics and research on Mental and Physical Health Disparities that affect us all. These sessions are aimed to provide continuing education for professional social workers. This year’s conference will include our traditional dynamic Modern Girl Movement Empowerment session led by founder Shemeca Patterson LMSW.
