Johann Hari is the author of the New York Times bestseller Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs, which inspired the 2021 biographical film The United States vs. Billie Holiday. His TED talks have been viewed more than 80 million times. The evening will begin with a book signing, followed by a presentation and a QA session. This special event is hosted by Sonoma County Department of Health Services in partnership with the Directing Change Program & Film Contest.
