HOBOKEN — Where can you see local art at your own pace in mile-square Hoboken? Everywhere.
The Hoboken Business Alliance, Main Street Pops, and the city are promoting a new, month-long Through The Windows Art Tour.
More than 50 local artists will have their works displayed in the front windows of 70 Hoboken small businesses, an opportunity for residents and visitors to experience public art while celebrating Hoboken as a cultural, retail, and dining destination.
At a press conference Thursday, Hoboken Business Alliance President James Runkle, Mayor
Ravi Bhalla, D'S Soulful Café (pictured above) owner Stephen Bailey, Leo's Grandesvous owner Grace Sciancalepore, Urban Arts and Monroe co-owners Justine Uva and Patricia Morale, Councilman Phil Cohen and local artist Chesleigh Meade spoke about the exhibit.
