The Farmworker Caravan will benefit and you'll enjoy a great meal. It's a win-win for everyone! About El Portal Cocina y Mariscos Chef Genaro Mendez honed his skills in wood-oven cooking at Spoonbar in Healdsburg while working for “Top Chef” alum Louis Maldonado. From there he went on to open The Creek Eatery in Silver Creek. After he was wooed away to be a private chef at Apple he has now returned to his roots combining his mother's traditional Mexican recipes with his innovative flair to create modern mix of flavors.
