Hey! It's Shift Leaders Marquis and Makayla Harris sharing with you some exciting news! The Shift is back and we couldn't wait to tell you! The Shift Kansas City was launched in summer of 2018 for middle and high school students and we are super pumped to bring teens together once again this summer for The Shift Summer Relaunch! What is The Shift? The Shift is a ministry for teens to be equipped in operating in their God-given purpose. The Shift seeks to show teens Christ in a very real and relevant way that gives them the tools they need to live a Christ-centered life. Why The Shift? More than ever our teens are under heavy pressure to fit in and keep up with the things of the world. This leaves them depressed, frustrated, and sometimes hopeless whenever they seem to "miss the mark". They're often ridiculed, bullied, or even overly critical of themselves causing them to misunderstand their true purpose, which is in Christ. Mission: Equip and empower teens to SHIFT from a Self-centered life to a Christ-centered life. Vision: To help teens discover their identity in Christ in order to operate in their God-given purpose. They started their journey of purpose together after getting married in August 2017. The Harris's have a heart to serve, equip, and encourage others. They have both been in ministry since their early 20s and are both excited about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want YOU to be there for The Shift Relaunch!
