Honor Juneteenth with us this year, for a day of intentional retreat centering connection, reflection, and restoration. This special Juneteenth Edition of Soulful SafeSpace Sunday will be dedicated to the spirit of the living embodiment of - Ancestral Freedom. On Sunday June 19th, We invite the community to join us for a restorative evening in which we will collectively build paths toward ultimate liberation for our past present and future selves influenced by the efforts of our ancestors. We will honor and uplift the spirits of those affected by the middle passage through embodying the living spirit of freedom. We will be aided by communal meditation, freedom mapping workshops, and ritual as we move toward the liberation of mind, body, and spirit. Soulful SafeSpace Sundays (est. 2019) is an ongoing program extension hosted by Strange Fruit Femmes. These are intentional Sunday Soulful gatherings for coming together - An opportunity for us to feel safe and rooted by community - Surrounded by our people, our culture, our nuances, and our stories as tools for support and empowerment through our intersectional experiences.
