Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, in conjunction with its philanthropic arm, the Kindness Foundation, kicks off their annual company-wide philanthropic event, Community Kindness this June. Agents and staff from the company’s 24 offices select organizations within their local community to Give Confidently whether of their volunteer time, talents or financial contributions. The Kindness Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to support meaningful local initiatives that improve the communities it serves and enhance the quality of life for fellow citizens. A sampling of the 2022 Community Kindness activities planned throughout Chicagoland include: food pantry collections, donation drives, Habitat for Humanity builds, shred events, efforts to help local restaurants, first responders and hospital staff, lakefront beach clean ups, and volunteer shifts to support local philanthropic organizations.
