We are seeking a Field Superintendent - Commercial Construction to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Scheduling and management of all subcontracted trades/project work • Assist Project Manager with the set-up of temporary project facilities and utilities • Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors • Scheduling and management of all self-performed field and project work • Handle problems with subcontractors • Adherence to all job site rules and regulations • Work closely with all departments to maintain continuity of normal workflow • Ensure that all jobs are constructed to contract, specification and detail • Walk site to determine construction status and assure quality control • Consistently utilize project software tools and Share Point Field folder • Daily field reports and photos • Prepare punch-list audit for each job and ensure that all punch-list items have been completed prior to occupancy • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation • Allocate resources for assigned projects • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields • Familiarity with construction management software • Strong leadership qualities • Strong negotiation skills • Deadline and detail-oriented Education and/or Experience • five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must have a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel.
