6/23/2022: Minecraft Hacksack(footbag) Enter the realm of the library classroom for a special edition Minecraft S.T.E.A.M. activity! Tired of getting kicked around by Creepers and Endermen? Grab your friends and come to the Spanish Fort Public Library! Participants will use colored felt, a dollop of hot glue and simple hand-sewing to create hackysack versions of Minecraft character heads.(yes! If you can defeat giant spiders and zombies, you can use a needle and thread to poke string through felt! I promise you, a villager could do learn to do this, and so can you!) Leave the library with the satisfaction of knowing you carry the head of your enemy in your pocket and they are the ones who will be getting kicked around when you get home! All participants must be 11 or older and register for the June 23, 2022 event. Space is limited to 15 participants.
