Here are the top three stories today in Mobile: The Food & Drug Administration has recalled seafood from Mobile County's Irvington Seafood. The recalled food is one-pound packages of "Crabmeat: Jumbo, Lump, Finger, and Claw meat." The food is being recalled due to a Listeria concern; the seafood can be returned to the location of purchase for a full refund. (WKRG News 5)According to the Mobile Police Department, Mobile has experienced 23 homicides this year — a pace that exceeds last year. The department reports that 163 guns have been stolen from vehicles this year alone. There have been 176 gun crimes committed this year by individuals under 25 years of age. (Fox 10 News)On Friday, the Mobile NAACP held a rally for gun violence awareness at Government Plaza. Participants were asked to wear orange to raise awareness. The rally was in direct response to recent national gun violence and the two fatal shootings that occurred in Mobile just last week.
