We have multiple technician positions available to join our teams in both Anchorage and North Pole, Alaska. Technicians are the backbone of all ECC industrial operations and the driving force behind our commitment to the environment and local communities. We have CDL and non-CDL positions available with the majority of CDL driving consisting of local box, pickup, vacuum, and/or flatbed truck operations. Key Responsibilities May Included: Inspect, transport, handle, and containerize materials for storage and shipment Inspect containers and collection areas for compliance with regulatory requirements Operate light and heavy equipment such as vehicles, vacuum trucks, plow vehicles, forklifts, skid steer, lift gates, pumps, and other equipment in a safe responsible manner and in compliance with personal license/training limitations Clean, maintain, and repair oil water separators, grease traps, and tanks Perform Spill response, remediation, and clean-up activities Perform routine inspections on vehicles and equipment Warehouse operations, general labor, and housekeeping Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Management program requirements as priority one while always acting in a safe manner Provide excellent customer service and client relations Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities Qualifications: Related experience preferred but not required Possess or obtain a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification Pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening Valid Driver’s license, CDL with hazmat endorsement preferred but not required for all positions Ability to pass occupational and DOT physicals as applicable to position Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Benefits: - 12 paid holidays/year - 80 hours vacation pay/year (Increases after 5 years) - 56 hours accrued sick leave/year - Medical, dental, and vision Insurance available - Employer matched 401K retirement plan - Additional monetary allotment applied to 401k or medical benefits for time spent on government service contracts - Training and certification opportunities We are excited to hear from you and look forward to receiving your resume to join our expanding team.
