we had a small custom built closet installed. it's unfinished shelves only. it's only around 15-20 surfaces. We just need someone to come in and do a clear coat matte finish. just a brush job is fine. it's (i'm guessing) less than 4 hours of work. But the closet installer is an older guy and he doesn't paint or finish. it's a fairly simple job that we could do ourselves if we weren't swamped with 100 other house projects. just needs a brush and some good matte finish for light oak wood.
