General Helper/Janitor $16-$17 San Diego, CA. Job Source is currently looking for a General Helper for our Grocery Store located in San Diego. Job Duties 1. Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties 2. Safely operates and maintains all types of cleaning machinery and equipment. 3. Retrieves the shopping carts from the parking lot and other designated places inside and outside the perimeter of the store by using proper equipment. 4. Inspects equipment and reports potential risks to managers for improvements. 5. Proper operation of corporate trucks, and other required equipment. 6. Ensures proper usage of supplies and equipment throughout the stores and corporate buildings. Minimum Requirement • Valid driver license is required • Ability to work in different working conditions as required • Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules. Skills Requirement • Ability to communicate effectively to customers and team members. • Ability to follow instructions, procedures and company policies. • Ability to operate certain equipment after being trained. • Good time management skill. Physical Demands • Standing for extended periods is commonly required. • Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as baler, and cutter. • Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs with proper equipment.
