Grocery Associate $16-$17 San Diego, CA. Job Source is currently looking for a Seafood/Meat Clerk for our Grocery Store located in San Diego. Job Duties for Seafood Clerk: Display, Sales Floor, Replenish, Processing, Logs, Stock, Customer Service, PI Count, Fish Tank Maintenance, Cleaning, Quality Control, Sales. Job Duties for Meat Clerk: Display, Sales Floor Maintain, Replenish, Dumping, Stock, Customer Service, PI Count, Cleaning, Meat Sales Minimum Requirements: ● Previous seafood/meat department experience is preferred. ● Knowledge of general seafood/meat product lines or similar experience. ● Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules. Skills Requirements: ● Ability to communicate effectively to customers and team members. ● Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies. ● Ability to inspect and evaluate the quality of products. ● Requires proper training and knowledge of equipment operation. Physical Demands: ● Standing for extended periods is commonly required. ● Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling. ● Lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment. ● Able to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32º to 50 ºF.
