Hello! As titled we are 2/3rds of a power trio searching for the bottom-end for an alternative rock cover band! Us: Both fun loving folks who have played in many bands over the years. We have careers, families and do this for fun only. We cover bands like the Pixies, Cure, QOTSA, Radiohead, RATM, STP, White Stripes, Weezer, Violent femmes and other more obscure 80/90/2000’s stuff. We have probably +30-35 songs pretty well ready to go, a lock out studio near downtown, a youthful enthusiasm and a plan! You: Likes this kind of music, promotes a positive fun vide, stable personality, works well with others, can commit to a weekly practice and has good chops. We are totally cool with guys just getting back into playing music after years off or guys who have been playing for only a few years but you need some skills! (i.e. no beginners) – many of our songs are bass heavy and being a 3 piece we need some proper chops and power from you! The plan: Practice once a week (usually a week night around 7:00), tighten it up, have fun, and be a band and start playing out again! We’ve options for some shows, but just need to get the ball rolling again. In the meantime, we intend to enjoy rehearsal, possibly drink a beer or two and rock the f*#k out each week!
