Description

Meet Cooper. A goofy white and black spotted 10-month-old pointer/mutt! We started to foster this (not so) little guy in February with the intention of helping him learn his manners and helping him be the dog that every family deserves to have. Cooper came to us from the same litter we got our service dog from and we knew he had the genetics to be an amazing dog. We just needed to be patient. He started out eating food off the counter, jumping on furniture, and even piddling in the house. We have found him to be a very quick learner and we don't even have a fence to keep him in our small yard! Cooper is SUPER sweet! He is eager to please and has learned basic commands. He is excellent on a leash and at heal. He has not ever chewed on our furniture nor anything that he knows is not his. Cooper has never had a ball thrown too many times while playing fetch and when he comes in the house he is happy to be out and about or in his kennel. Cooper LOVES people and has never met a stranger. He does great with kids, and other dogs. He likes to chase our cats, but isn't interested in hurting them - he just wants to play. Cooper has been such a fun part of our lives for the last few months and we have decided he is ready to find the house that he helps make a Home. Cooper has given us so much more than we could ever give him and we are so grateful he is getting a chance to be someone's family member. In lieu of a rehoming fee, we will be selective on who gets him. We feel it is very important for him to go to a great home. He really deserves it. Cooper is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on shots. He weighs about 55 pounds.
