The first lesson any young person needs to learn is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Forgiving their college loan debt is not the way to teach that lesson. The other thing is, the vast majority of kids who go to colleges and universities, generally come from middle-class to upper class families. That means poorer and less-educated kids will be paying for rich kid's college loans. The covid virus response caused the greatest transfer of wealth from poor to rich people that this country has ever seen. This transfer of wealth for college loans is exactly the same thing in a different form. How, in any world, could this be considered 'fair'??
