Boat washer / interior detailer needed!

Currently seeking 1-2 persons to join our boat cleaning team at Virginia Yacht Brokers. A candidate should feel comfortable working around deep water, have the ability to use both stairs and ladders, and be able to lift a 20lb bucket to chest height. The ideal candidate would have some cleaning experience, but no experience is necessary. We're willing to work with you on initial scheduling. We work in a mostly outdoor environment. The average workday would consist of a person fully washing and chammy drying the entire exterior of a boat (average vessel being 40ft long). All equipment and materials will be provided. We will walk you through the process on the first couple of boats, but then would be on your own. Once the exterior is done, we'd switch you to the inside of another vessel to tidy up: Wiping down all hard surfaces, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and windows, whatever it takes to help make our listings look great! The ideal candidate will take a "white glove" approach to cleaning. In the past we've had part-time mothers with flexible scheduling for concerns with kids, students home for the summer who want to learn about yachts and get their foot into the marine industry, part-time workers looking to fill their schedule voids. We are flexible but need communication. This position could grow into a full-time position for the right person. Please email us with your contact information and any relevant experience.
