Well established Vermont high tech manufacturer is looking for a person who loves to work with complex machines applied to the photonics industry. Examples include heat pumps operating from close to absolute zero, to energetic sources operating at conditions close to those on our sun. Familiarity with energetic electrical sources to detection of microamp currents would be an expectation. Much of the equipment operates at pressures of deep outer space, but other operates at pressures that liquify gases. The ideal candidate has the confidence and capability to disassemble a piece of technology, and diagnose its operating functions, and analyse its shortcomings. Experience is less important than passion and willingness to stretch competencies.
